I just flew into Managua and boy are my arms tired!

It's been a long day - up at 4:30 to catch my redeye into hotlanta,
then 3 hours to Managua. It take a little while to get 15 people
through customs. We got to the hotel (with wifi!) and settled in. The
hotel us actually rather nice but this won't be where we will stay for
the rest of the week. Some of us spent the afternoon on a quick tour
of Managua seeing the sights. I'm looking forward to a good nights
sleep before our 7 hour drive up into the mountains tomorrow. We also
had a group dinner where I met a man named Chuck. He's been doing
these types of trips since 1976! I remembered to brush my teeth with
bottled water so hopefully I won't get the runs.

On a side note - I can't figure out how to post pictures to blogger
from the iPad so bear with me there. You can see some on Facebook.
Adios!

On my way ...

I sitting here in Greensboro waiting to board the plane and wishing I had some more coffee. I managed to get myself an aisle seat for both legs of the trip. About half the team will be on the flight from Atlanta to Managua and we will meet the rest in Managua. I feel sorry for one woman who has to fly LA to Miami and then Miami to Managua, at least my flights are short and without unnecessary detours. They're boarding the plane so I have to go. Wish me luck!
